BCLP raises UK NQ salaries, with London pay reaching £135,000

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has announced salary increases for its newly qualified (NQ) lawyers in the UK, with London salaries rising to £135,000.

The London NQ rate will increase from £125,000, while salaries for NQs in Manchester and Southampton will rise from £72,000 to £80,000. The changes are also expected to trigger adjustments across other associate levels.

BCLP says the increases form part of its regular review of compensation structures across its international offices. The new London rate puts its NQs on par with those at Katten and Reed Smith, and the firm recruits around 20 trainees each year.
